corehealth Regular Champion
This month for a first we have some corehealth regular champions, meet the Jachacy family!
Husband and Wife Adrian & Lucy and two boys Kacper and Tymek have all become friendly faces around the clinic. Originally from Poland the whole family moved to Australia two years ago and have been a part of the CoreHealth family for over a year now.
Adrian works as a Computer Programmer and was finding his back and neck becoming increasingly painful after work and he decided to take control and do something about it. Soon after Adrian began doing pilates classes regularly to increase his mobility and strength. Before long Adrian began an Exercise Physiology program to further increase his strength and endurance on the bike- Adrian’s strength improved massively over 12 weeks and he now says this is the fittest and strongest his body has ever felt! Adrian is now doing regular pilates, stretch classes and a strength program on his own- the fittest and strongest he has ever felt. He has always shown such great commitment and dedication towards his training and taking charge of his health!
Kacper began training with us in 2017 experiencing fatigue and lack of co-ordination. Kacper has been training with us regularly since, improving in his coordination, strength and endurance he now loves playing cricket and soccer. One day Kacper wants to play Soccer for Poland or England or become a Computer Engineer!
Tymek has recently started training with us as a promising tennis player. Working on his strength, balance and coordination his Tennis has improved and he is now also playing club soccer! The two boys Kacper and Tymek both come in to the clinic regularly before and after school- both come in with such a good attitude towards their training, never not putting in 100%.
Not to be left out, Lucy is always around the clinic making sure the boys are all here on time as well as seeing a physiotherapist and occasionally getting to treat herself with a massage voucher from the boys.
It’s a pleasure to have the Jachacy family a part of ours, they all have an infectious and positive attitude towards they’re training and are an absolute joy to work with!
As most of you all know by now, we recently came back from our staff trip to Fiji! We stayed on Sonaisali Island, at the Doubletree Hilton Resort with a magnificent view overlooking the Mamanuca Islands. Our getaway was filled with sun, laughter, relaxation, swimming and a few sneaky frozen margaritas not to mention all the diving/snorkelling we were lucky enough to do. We had two days of diving and snorkelling through the Mamanuca islands where we were amazed to see an abundance of colourful fish and coral spreading along the ocean floor. Some of us were even lucky enough to see some reef sharks and a turtle! We found ourselves very lucky to be in the capable and amazing hands of our diving instructor Sharon, who is the number one female diving instructor in all of Fiji and is also an advocate for teaching females in Fiji to become qualified diving instructors. On Saturday we spent our day lazing about on a floating pontoon in the middle of the turquoise blue ocean also known as Cloud 9, and as we jumped off the floating restaurant into the clear blue water overlooking the islands of Fiji, we soon found out exactly why it had that name! We took a shopping trip into town, had traditional Fiji buffet dinners with performances, horse rides along the island, paddle boards and catamarans off of our resort, daily massages and Lucy managed to catch some waves at cloud break! All in all the holiday was one we all throughly enjoyed and what made it even better was how easily all of us get along which is what makes us enjoy coming to work each day, even if we did get a few questions as to how Amir was able to hang around so many beautiful ladies! One thing we can all agree on though is the amazing hospitality and friendliness of the Fijians, even if ‘Fiji time’ was a common occurrence as an excuse of being late! We would definitely recommend a visit to the beautiful island of Fiji to anyone and everyone!
